Research Interests

I am broadly interested in a range of topics in astrophysics, particularly through the lens of dynamics. I enjoy thinking about stellar orbits and how they drive galaxy evolution, especially via chaos, quasiperiodicity, and resonances.

I am also exploring ways of incorporating sonification (i.e., converting data to sound) in the field of galaxy dynamics.

The following is a selected list of some of my other research interests:

  • Connecting theory with observations
  • Milky Way dynamics
  • Galactic Center dynamics (particularly the S stars)
  • Stellar streams and galaxy mergers
  • Multiwavelength astronomy
  • Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN)
